Proactiv kills bacteria that stays in your pores and causes acne. It is very effective and pretty fast as long as there aren't too many bacteria to handle. This is why sometimes severe acne is too much for this product. Plus, once you start using this product and your skin becomes clear you must always use it or the bacteria will come back.

Stinkers

Clear and Continuous Control Acne Cleanser:
This facial cleanser is excellent. I really like the feel of it on my face. However, it is not a good treatment for acne. While it felt wonderful, there were little to no effects. Nonetheless, users who are prone to breakouts (not acne) had some luck with this product. Its on our “stinkers” list because it hasn't really lived up to the “acne cleanser” part in its name.

Murad Acne Treatments:
Murad is a fantastic cosmetics and beauty product company. However, their acne products are not the best. Murad's acne products tend to make the problem worse for most who use it.
