You must be vigilant when looking at acne product reviews. Your breakouts will be more out of control if you use the wrong acne products. Make sure you really evaluate all aspects of a review before doing anything. You need to know what type of acne the treatment is intended for. Its very important to know what type of treatment you are getting. You will also have to determine whether you can deal with the side effects.

Keeping this information in mind we have put together a list of acne reviews. Some of the products are really good. Some of their users seem to literally think they are the best. Others are just awful. Did your acne treatment make our list? Check the acne product reviews below.

Champions

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash:
This is a wonderful product for any budget. It doesn't matter what degree of acne you have to use this product. The wash was made to remove all the oil. Use the wash two times a day. But it leaves the skin a tiny bit dry. Oil-free moisturizer will correct this. It only took about a week for users to notice improvements. This kept improving over time. However, totally clear skin is not always achievable for everyone by just using the wash. If you have serious acne, this wash will make a very noticeable difference. You will be able to clear up mild to moderate acne with the wash.

Proactiv:
This acne treatment was put in our stars acne product reviews because it works like a charm. Many users believe in Proactive, not only the stars in the commercials. But, I have seen many mixed reviews about Proactive. If you have mild to moderate acne, you will love this product. However, if you have truly severe acne it may not respond. Proactiv kills bacteria that stays in your pores and causes acne. It is very effective and pretty fast as long as there aren't too many bacteria to handle. This is why sometimes severe acne is too much for this product. Plus, once you start using this product and your skin becomes clear you must always use it or the bacteria will come back.

Stinkers

Clear and Continuous Control Acne Cleanser:
This facial cleanser is excellent. I really like the feel of it on my face. However, it is not a good treatment for acne. While it felt wonderful, there were little to no effects. Nonetheless, users who are prone to breakouts (not acne) had some luck with this product. Its on our “stinkers” list because it hasn't really lived up to the “acne cleanser” part in its name.

Murad Acne Treatments:
Murad is a fantastic cosmetics and beauty product company. However, their acne products are not the best. Murad's acne products tend to make the problem worse for most who use it. With a money-back guarantee you will have to wait on your refund while possibly dealing with some serious image issues. If you want to try this product, just use it carefully.

Naturally there are many more acne treatments out there. They were just the ones that really stood out. It is always wise to check acne product reviews before buying.
