Why You Need to Use Green Tea for Your Skin’s Health
Green tea is excellent for you. Its very true. A researcher recently did a study that involved exposing hundreds of minnows to highly radioactive substances. They all should have gotten cancer and died within days. But, they didn't die. How did they stay alive? They didn't live in, instead they were in green tea.
You probably don't think the idea of hitting cute, harmless minnows with x-rays is so great. I'm sure most people don't. However, you have to like the results. This makes me want to immerse myself in green tea.
So many people are now realizing the healing powers that are in green tea. Green tea and green tea extracts are becoming more popular because of this. You can find green tea in all kinds of different candies and sodas. Not to mention all the other green tea blends that are available in stores today.
But, in spite of all the craze over green tea, there is one area that hasn't caught on. That would be the skin care area. There are a lot of rumors, but very few manufacturers taking action. What consumers do not realize is that the same things that make green tea great for your body and inner organs also make it an ideal for your largest organ: your skin.
Green tea is full of antioxidants. Green tea will even enhance your immune system when you drink it. However, when you rub it on your face, those anti-oxidants immediately start defending your exterior as well.
Anti-oxidants are so good for your face and skin. For one thing, they keep free radicals away. These free radicals are molecules that are in the air and will assault your skin causing wrinkles. Sometimes, they can damage skin cells so much that they actually become cancerous.
However, green tea skin care does more than that. Green tea extracts are used to help breathe new life into your skin. They ease both inflammations and discolorations that can be caused by the environment or by the wrong products. You should add a green tea product to your natural skincare regimen. Adding green tea products to your personal skincare program will make you very happy.
